Hello my name is Stephanie Taylor. I am 29 years old. I am married
with two children, two large dogs, and a cat. My boys’ names are Jackson
(11) and Liam (3). When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my
family and exercising.
I earned my Bachelor Degree in education in December 2001 from Auburn
University in Montgomery. I earned my Master Degree in education in June
2005 from Troy State University in Montgomery. I have been teaching for
six years. My first year I taught pre-school, and for the past five years I
have been here at Prattville Kindergarten school. The reason I wanted to
become a teacher is because I have always enjoyed interacting with
children. I especially love the younger children.
My mission is to provide students with an equal opportunity to learn. I
believe that all students have the ability to learn. My goal is to make
sure each student experiences success in the classroom. I hope to meet this
goal by using a variety of instructional strategies and by increasing
student motivation. I increase student motivation in a couple of ways:
planning fun-developmentally-appropriate-activities and by offering rewards
to students who "make good choices".
