Here are a few reminders and announcements:
- Always send money to school in a marked envelope.
- PKS sells ice cream for a snack choice on Fridays for $.50.
- PKS snacks are $.50, juice or water is $.75, and ice cream is $.50.
- We are collecting box tops for PKS. Please send those in for our school.
- We are on an alternating schedule with music and library. Unfortunately
for us, most of our school holidays fall on our Monday library day. So
to help us stay on track, we will return our library books every Monday.
So keep your library book at home all week and return it on Monday in its
cute little plastic library bag for a new one.
- Please read with your child each night for 15 minutes. You will receive a
reading calendar to record your readings on. It can be a fun book, your
library book, a chapter from a book, a devotional, or any literature
that your child enjoys. Return your reading calendar to me at the end of
the month and we will total up our number of readings to compete against the
other classes at PKS. Happy reading!
