We will have a Friend of the Week for the full weeks we are in school.
During that week we will be highlighting a different child in our class!
Your child will get to carry the Friend of the Week bag. The Friend of the
Week bag will be used to bring special items to school.
Activities for the Week:
Monday: Bring 1/2 piece of poster board, display pictures of family,
favorite activities, pets, etc.
Tuesday: Bring favorite stuffed animal to read to during quiet time.
Wednesday: Bring items for our guessing jar (1-20 objects such as small
cars, erasers, stickers, etc.). Don't tell your child how many items are in
the jar. We will make estimates; then check our estimates.
Thursday: Bring favorite book to read during quiet time.
Friday: Invite a special person to lunch this day (parent(s), grandparent
(s), etc.). Our lunch time is from 11:45am until 12:10pm. Please let me
know if you plan to eat lunch with us so I can notify the lunchroom staff.
Guests for lunch are asked to sign in with the front office and wait in the
foyer.
