website provides parents with information about the five areas of reading
(phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension, and vocabulary).
There is also information about DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early
Literacy Skills). DIBELS is the state mandated reading assessment for
kindergarten. This website explains what DIBELS is and what your child is
tested on. In kindergarten, students are tested on Initial Sound Fluency,
