| "Friend of the Week" is an activity that allows your child to be the
special star for a week. On Monday, the "Friend of the Week" brings an "All
About Me" poster to share with the class. This poster will be displayed
throughout the week. On Tuesday, the child brings his/her favorite book to
school to share. On Wednesday, he/she brings a special snack to share with
the class during our snack time. On Thursday, he/she brings a favorite
indoor learning game to play with friends during our literacy center time,
and Friday is Show-And-Tell day for the "Friend of the Week." Our "Friend
of the Week" schedule will be posted shortly after the school year begins.
Your child will bring home a detailed note about each day's activity the
week before his/her turn. Have fun with this activity and thank you in
advance for working with your child!!
