| Spring is here!!
I can't believe we are on the last two months of school. This year is
really flying by! We have a lot of things happening in the last weeks of
school.
We will be giving the Stanford Achievement Test and Otis Lennon Mental
Ability Test beginning the week of April 7th. We will test every morning
and maybe a little after lunch depending on how the children are doing. It
is important for your child to get a good night's sleep and to have a good
breakfast each day. We have not talked a great deal about this being
a "test". We are working in a different kind of booklet - doing different
kinds of things. I don't want the children to stressed over testing.
On April 15th we will be going to the Montgomery Zoo. Details of our trip
will come home on Monday or Tuesday.
Friday, April 18th will be Wildcat Workday. Our class will be potting
flowers to take to some of the elderly people in our community. We will de
plant the flowers during the week so they will be ready to deliver on
Friday. Lunch will be served at school and we will dismiss early on that
day.
I will be sending home information on graduation soon. The date for
graduation is May 20th.
Congratulations to the following students for completing their Six Hour
Reading for a ticket to Six Flags. The tickets have not arrived yet but
should be here this month.
Thank you to the Moms that planned and provided a great Valentine and Easter
party. The children enjoyed both of them.
