I have been teaching at Springwood school for 13 years. I live in Lanett
with my husband, Benjy, and three daughters, Molly, Annie, and
Georgia, who also attend Springwood. I am originally from Miami,Florida. I
went to Auburn University (war eagle!) and earned a Masters of Elementary
Education degree. In addition to teaching fourth grade, I also coach the
cross country and track teams.
My mission is for my students to continue their "young child" natural love
of learning. Their brains will be "strained" at times as I will challenge
them often to higher level thinking activities. My goal is to provide
enjoyable,instructive educational opportunities that will nurture each
child's independence, creativity, intelect and spirit.
