I grew up in the Morgan County School System gratuating from Brewer High
School in 1996. I gratuated from Athens State with a Bachelor's Degree in
2005. The 2008-2009 school will will be my fifth year as a classroom
teacher. I also worked as an aide the 3 previous years. I have taught in
Morgan and Jefferson Counties.
My daughter Abby and I live in Hartselle. Abby will be in 3rd grade this
2009-2010 school year at West Elementary. I enjoy spending time with my
family, going to the beach, working in my yard, reading, sports, and boating
as well as most other outdoor activities.
In my classroom, I want to help my students learn skills that will prepare
them for the future and shape them into productive members of the
community. I want to instill values in my students such as kindness,
honesty, and integrity. I want every child to walk out of my class and feel
successful.
