| Muffins for Mom's is a time set up for moms to drop in at the school and do
tasks for the teachers that would take a miracle for the teachers to get
done otherwise. Muffins for moms are on Thursday mornings at the Parent
Center located in the Ledbetter Elementary PE gym. Pre-schoolers are welcome
at the Parent Center, we have a special play area just for them. This is a
drop in program that starts at 8:00 a.m. and goes until the last mom leaves
or until the work has been completed. This is a great way to get aquainted
with other moms and is serving the teachers as well. This leaves more of
their time to concentrate on the children. Mom's are rewarded with muffins,
orange juice, and coffee to eat for their volunteer
service.
