This week in Kindergarten, we will be on Unit 19, in which we will read, build, and spell words with the letter Jj. There is no new sight word for this week. Please work on spelling words on the study guide and on Fourth Nine Weeks math skills.
In first grade, the students will be on Unit 27, in which we will read, build, and spell words with variant vowel /oo/ as in stood could pull. Please have your child write two sentences using spellilng words from this week. The sentences should begin with a capital, have correct spacing between words, and end with appropriate punctuation marks. Sight words and spelling words with variant vowel /oo/ are in the study guide.
Remember that there is no school Friday, April 27th, due to an inclement weather day. Have a great week!
