 -- this website is free, and offers great test preps!  For instance, there are 7 full-length ACT practice tests with detailed answer explanations and performance feedback.  There is an interactive game designed to increase ACT/SAT test scores as well as enhance general mathematics and vocabulary skills.  Designed by Peterson's and Educational Options and paid for by the U.S. Army, this website can enhance and refresh your knowledge, to assist you in achieving your educational goals.  When you enroll at the March2Success website, you simply register by answering a few questions; registration is valid for 45 days and can be extended for more time if needed.  THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO THE U.S. ARMY OR ANY OTHER MILITARY ORGANIZATION FOR USAGE OF THIS WEBSITE.

ZAPS ACT-Prep Workshop --
Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Lakeside High School Distance Learning Room
Cost:  $79
Hours:  9:00 to 3:00

This seminar is a one-day session in which students learn strategies and tips that have been shown to raise ACT scores 1 to 5 points.  Included are 24 practice tests and a comprehensive ZAPS ACT study guide. 

To enroll, go to www.zaps.com and pay by credit card, or you may register your student to take a check to the seminar.  If you prefer, you may call 877-927-8378 and register by phone. 

Students are asked to bring two sharpened pencils and a calculator to the seminar.  There will be a lunch break in which students may go out to eat or bring their lunch and eat it at the school.  LUNCH WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT SCHOOL.

ZAPS ACT seminar is for college-bound students of all abiity levels.  If a student cannot attend because the fee is prohibitive, there are a few scholarships available.  If interested, see Mrs. Stratton.
