In our class, we will learn about everything to do with math. Besides our normal curriculum, we will focus on our multiplication facts, and being able to answer "why" to every answer we give.
I believe learning is not a spectator sport! We will use music (yes singing, rapping and chanting), video, technology, textbooks, group work, partner work, and alone time to synthesize and apply what we are learning to the bigger questions and the world around us.
This year, it is my hope that we will take risks, make mistakes, make connections, ask questions, form opinions, argue with each other, cheer for each other and bond with each other as we all learn together. This is going to be the best year yet!
