Edmond Burke Prewriting /15 The historical events surrounding the Salem Witch Trial seem unreal. How could such a horrible travesty of the court and judicial system be perpetrated? Your task is to assign blame to the characters whom you feel are most responsible for such a reprehensible situation. After completing the prewriting video notes, divide the circle below into appropriate portions and label each section with the character's name to indicate what part (percentage) of the situation was their fault according to the “evidence” gathered. Using your pie chart, formulate a thesis statement.
