Ms. Swift has been teaching physical education at AJHS for the past 11
years.
The physical education staff at AJHS is dedicated to providing the best
possible physical education experience for our students. We believe that
physical education provides a unique contribution to the education process.
Our program features sound activities organized and planned to enhance the
student's socialization skills, fitness level, and lifetime activities
awareness. When our students leave our program, we would like them to take
with them these socialization skills, but more importantly we would like to
produce healthy, physically active individuals!
We want physical education to be a successful experience for our students.
For that reason we stress participation and effort more-so-than skill. Even
those students with lower motor skill levels can receive excellent grades by
participating and demonstrating good effort.
