Mr. Shields was born in Indiana and moved to Arizona in 1983. This is his
twelfth year at AJHS, and in that time, he has taught 9th, 10th, and 12th
grade English, Enriched English 12, and Journalism.
Mr. Shields graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree
in English and a Masters degree in Secondary Education. He has also taken
graduate courses at Oxford University in Oxford, England.
