I have been teaching in Mesa Public Schools for 23 years with many years at grade four and grade five
with an interlude of one year teaching grade six. Grade five is my passion, as I love the curriculum that
is offered at that grade level.
Discovering where each child is on the continuum of education and then grasping the student's hand
and allowing him/her to explore all sorts of new ideas and thinking; that is my mission. Coming in
knowing a good deal of material, yet leaving in May having built upon that foundation and
presenting to the world a person who has matured and learned during the course of another year;
that is my mission. To find the enjoyment, enthusiasm, and excitement there is in education; that is
my mission.
