How much homework should my child have?

In fourth grade 30-45 minutes of homework a night is common. If your child
uses their time wisely during the day they may have less homework. If your
child is consistently working more forty-five minutes please contact your
child's teacher so that we can determine why? We need to work together to
determine if they need extra help at school or if we need to help them with
time management skills.

Can I bring a snack to school?

We will be having first lunch this year so a snack will not be needed, but
we do recommend that students bring a water bottle to use at their desk
especially during the hot weather months.
