covering in first grade.
Some topics include:
Math: Time to the hour, half hour and quarter hour, change to a dollar,
change recognition, addition/subtraction facts, geometric shapes, word
problems
Reading: Various reading strategies, common sight word recognition
Science: Five senses, Bats, Ocean life, Desert life, habitats
Writing: Six traits of writing: Voice, word choice, organization,ideas,
sentence fluency, and conventions
