About The Teacher

   This is my third year teaching 1st grade at DeGrazia. I previously 
taught first grade in the Amphitheater school district.  I bring to my 
classroom a love of learning and children. I love this age because of the 
growth which takes place in the first grade. I especially enjoy teaching 
math and science.
    I am married to my husband Vince and we have two sons, Samuel and Caleb. 
Samuel is three years old. He is a busy little guy! Samuel is in 
pre school this year. Caleb joined our family on July 18th of 2007. He is 
definitely earning his nickname, "Pudge."  We also have two dogs, Aspen and 
Sassy. 
I enjoy spending time with my sons and husband, reading, watching movies, 
baking and Starbucks!

Mission For The Class

    I want my students to enjoy learning and to grow as much as possible in 
one academic year's time. I believe that all children given the 
encouragement and high expectations in my classroom can succeed and work to 
their potential. I work to foster a positive, caring, safe environment for 
all students.
