I'm Mrs. Kistemann (a.k.a. Mrs. K). I graduated from Brigham Young University
in Provo, Utah, in April 2007. Prior to graduating, I lived in Russia for a
year and a half doing volunteer work. Teaching is in my blood. I am the
youngest of 6 and come from a family of educators (parents, siblings,
grandparents and cousins- all teachers, professors and administrators). My
husband, Jonathan, is attending ASU as well. We love school! This is my
first year at Eagleridge and I couldn’t be more excited. Prior to coming here
I taught at Kyrene de los Ninos for four years. I left after having my first
child, Sarah Lindsay, but couldn’t stay away from teaching.
Some of my hobbies include dancing, playing sports, scrap-booking, singing,
and playing the piano. I love Flamming Hot Cheetos and dill pickles
(especially Claussen pickles). And for all my basketball kiddos- I think the
Lakers are better than the Suns...haha.
I am looking forward to teaching this 11-12 school year and getting to know
you.
