Hopefully you all heard about our 5th grade pie eating contest. It was a
hoot! If I don't see another pumpkin pie for a while, that will be fine with
me. And no, I didn't eat even a single slice over the holiday. :) We were
able to raise $250 towards our camp fund...yea! Please look out for other fund
raising activities here at Meadows. We still have some fun and exciting
events in store....Bingo anyone?
I also hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and plenty of family times.
We are in high gear for the next few weeks as we head towards the end of the
second semester. Please make sure your child has the necessary utensils for
school. It's amazing how many come to school without a pencil, let alone one
that is sharpened. Each weekend, please go through your child's backpack to
ensure they are ready for the following week. Also make sure you browse
through the three-ring binder to see what's been happening in your child's
classes.
