About The Teacher
With two children of my own, I know how many of your feel when you send them off to school, so please know they are in good hands here at Meadows. Both my children are products of the Madison School District and I'm quite proud of them. Rose Lane was their elementary school with them finishing up their Madison years here at Meadows. My son, Taylor, attends ASU while my daughter, Suzanne, attends Sunnyslope; both have fond memories of Meadows. I came to Meadows by way of Simis. That's right, Simis. I started my Madison career in a 2nd grade classroom full of wonderful and intelligent students and have been blessed over the years to have some of the same children as well as siblings enter my classroom. Meadows has been my home for about sixteen years. It is here I have taught 7th grade language arts and 5th grade...well, you name it, I've taught it. :) I was a language arts teacher leader with the district for two years and am the 5th grade team leader. I have served and continue to do so on many committees both here at school and the district level. If there are any questions or concerns you have about anything, please feel free to let me know. If I don't know the answer, I will find it for you if at all possible. I look forward to another exciting year here at Meadows and am so pleased to have your child in class. Go Rams!
