7th Graders will need a copy of:

(1) Mildred Taylor's Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry or 
Francisco Jimenez's The Circuit

(2) One of the following: Lois Lowry's The Giver,  
Sharon Creech's Walk Two Moons, Jack London's The Call of the Wild, 
Mark Twain's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, or Kyoki Mori's Shizuko's 
Daughter.
