I graduated from Colorado State University in December 2002 with a Bachelor
of Arts in Political Science and History. I received my teaching license in
May of 2003. This will be my sixth year of teaching. I have spent the past
five years working with students from a variety of ages, cultural background,
and learning abilities. I am current working towards a master’s degree in
Educational Leadership.
I became a teacher because I love learning. Each and every human
being deserves the right to learn in a safe, clean environment. I spend
each and every day to ensure I am providing this environment for our
students. Each learner learns in different ways and according to their own
time tables. Within my classroom I work to ensure every student’s specific
educational needs are met. However, education is a life long process, and
we as humans must take responsibility for our own learning. As an educator,
I am a guide on this life long journey we call learning. I will present
materials, information, and resources to guide our students through their
personal journey of knowledge. Education is such an intricate part of our
whole lives and I think it is important to not only learn but have fun while
we learn.
I have an open door policy in my classroom. If you have any
questions or concerns, please either email me or call me as soon as
possible. Together, we can make this a great year!
