Air Mass - A large body of air that has uniform temperature and humidity.
Front - the leading edge of a moving air mass.
Density - The amount of matter in a given volume of a material; mass per volume.
Mass - the amount of matter in an object
Molecule - the smallest particle of a substance having all the characteristics of the substance.
Season - A period of the year marked by the equinoxes and solstices or by atmospheric conditions.
Water cycle - The circuit of water movement from the oceans to the atmosphere to Earth's surface and back to the atmosphere through various processes, such as precipitation, runoff, infiltration, storage and evaporation.
Matter - the stuff that makes up the universe. Matter occupies space and has mass.
Conduction - the transfer of energy from one place to another by contact.
Convection - movement of a fluid, such as air, that transfers heat from one place to another.
Radiation - Energy that is radiated or transmitted through space in the form of rays, waves, or particles.
Evaporation - the process in which liquid water becomes water vapor.
Convection cell - cycle caused by convection when cool, denser material sinks and replaces warmer, less dense material
Air pressure - The force exerted on a surface by the weight of the air above it.
