My name is Sharon Seivert (Nurse Sharon), and I am starting my 5th year here
at Meadows. I have 13 years of school nursing behind me. Prior to
that, I was in the hospital and did labor and delivery and surgery. I love
school nursing and pediatric nursing. I love working with the kids, trying
to keep them happy and healthy.
This year there are some changes in the Madison district due to the budget.
Madison has 4 nurses and 4 Health assistants. Meadows and Simis will be
paired up and their Health Assistant (HA) and I will share the two campuses.
Marla Elias is the Simis HA and she will be at Meadows 2 days a week and I
will be at Simis 2 days a week. We are so lucky to have Marla in this
position at Meadows.

1. To assess every student as quickly as possible and provide appropriate
nusring care to acheive a healthy and safe outcome.
2. To maintain accurate and current immunization records in order to
complete the Arizona State Immunization report with a passing grade.
3. To provide medical referrals for students in need of medical care.
4. To provide the means to keep the students healthy and productive so they
may stay in school and do well.
