My name is Diane Benton and this is my second year at MES. I moved to
Maricopa from Tucson a year ago and I am enjoying living here. I have lived
in Arizona most of my life, so I consider myself a native. Last year I
taught First Grade and I have also taught Kindergarten and Third Grade. I
have Early Childhood and ESL Endorsements. I have two children of my own
(Beau and Ashley)and one grandchild (Dylan). Traveling is a passion of mine
and I hope to travel to Ireland in the spring. I am looking forward to
working with you and your child this school year.
Every child has the ability to learn and my mission is to see that this is
accomplished in our room this year. With your help and support we will be
able to see amazing results in your child's growth.
Our class will work together and nurture the positive qualities each of us
has. I believe in positive reinforcement and have been very successful with
this technique for my classroom management.
