3RD QUARTER PROJECT
We will be celebrating and researching Black History Month this quarter.
Students will be completing the research portion of this assignment in the
classroom; however, the designing and construction of the final presentation
is to be completed at home. The final project is due on March 12, 2008.
Parents are welcome to come and view or even record the presentations.
Options for hte final presentation were provided to students such as making
a scrapbook, a news report, a written report, a poster board/timeline, a
collage, an autobiographical presentation as the person being researched,
etc. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

HOMEWORK POLICY/SCHEDULE
Homework will be sent home in an orange two pocket folder the first four
days of the week (Monday through Thursday) with homework assignments.
Homework folders will also be sent home on Fridays with information
regarding behavior for that week, and a communication log. Please sign the
communication log each Friday and send the folder back on Monday mornings.
Students will loose 20 minutes of lunch recess for incomplete homework
assignments daily.
