of students and parents.
  1. Are grades available online?
  2. Will I have much homework in your class?

Are grades available online?

Yes, grades are available online by logging onto the MWMS
website, clicking on "About Us", then click "staff", find my name
and click on the grades tab. You will need to enter the students
last name as the username, and their initials followed by their
school I.D. as the password. This should bring up their grades.

Will I have much homework in your class?

Typically, I do not assign homework on a regular basis. Most of
our writing assignments will be completed in class. However, if
a student does not finish their assignment in class, they are
expected to complete it for homwork at turn it in on the assigned
due date.

What if I'm absent?

When a student is absent from school (excused absence), they are
responsible to find out what was completed in class the day(s)
they were absent. A student who is absent will receive an
automatic extension of however many days they were absent, to
submit any work completed on the day(s) they missed.

Can I turn in my work late if I wasn't absent?

Every student will receive two (2) one day extensions to complete
major assignments per school year, one per semester, and still
receive full credit. Otherwise, work may be turned in late, but
only for half credit. If a student's work is late, the gradebook
will indicate that the score was lowered because "turned in
late".
