Welcome to the 2009-10 school year! It should be a very exciting year in the
D cohort. I've composed this page to give students and parents a chance to
get to know me a bit better. So, here's a little information about myself:
Mini Bio: I'm originally from Chicago, GO BEARS, where I taught high school
English (grades 10 and 12) for two years before moving to Maricopa to be
closer to family. This is my 2nd year teaching at Maricopa Wells Middle
School.
Education: I am secondary certified (grades 7-12) by the state of Arizona to
teach English and all subjects in relation to English (Language Arts). I am
considered "highly qualified" to teach by the state of Arizona.
I earned a Bachelors Degree in English from Benedictine University (Lisle,IL)
in 2002. I earned a Masters Degree in Education from the University of St.
Francis (Joliet, IL) in 2007.
Prior Work History: Before entering into the teaching profession I worked as
an insurance fraud investigator; working with the F.B.I. and other law
enforcement agencies.
Quick facts: Have an identical twin brother named Jason who lives in
Maricopa, and another brother named Chester who's ten years
older.
