| During the months of January and February, students will be researching
a topic from our 8th Grade History curriculum. The topic must be of an
event, person, or a trend that occurred during the 20th Century.
The presentation must be a research report, but the method in which it is
presented can vary. Powerpoint presentations, visual/oral presentations,
skits, are just a few possible methods. Any other ideas must be discussed
with Mr. Gibson for final approval. All presentations must be a MINIMUM of
FIVE MINUTES in length.
Students will work alone, or they may work with ONE partner. No small
groups will be allowed.
Please follow the timeline listed below for all due dates.
Also, use the "Some Helpful Internet Links" for possible sources for the
information required. ALL research will be done OUTSIDE of class time,
although one week of class time will be given (during the first week of
February) for presentation practice.
If you have any questions, please call or e-mail me.
