Math Course 1

Welcome to Math Course 1!

On this page you will be able to find lesson plans for the previous weeks. In this course the primary focus is on fractions, decimals and percents. As a school wide goal, we will also be working on overall math fact proficiency. I look forward to a great year full of exploration. Please feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns.

Grading Policy - Homework is worth 15% of the overall grade. It must be complete, and all work must be shown to recieve credit. Late homework will be accepted up to one week after the assigned due date for half credit. Classwork is required daily, and is worth 5% of the overall grade. Tests and Quizzes are worth 80% of the overall grade. All questions on the tests and quizzes come directly from classwork or homework assignments.

New: The link to grades is now working. I am planning to update grades once a week, usually on Mondays. Also, I have added tutoring on Tues. and Thurs. mornings from 8-8:30 a.m. If your student would like to participate they must be at the front office at 8:00 a.m.

Thank you!
