I recommend email as the easiest and fastest way to contact me. Whether it 
is throughout the school day or in the evening when I am at home, I am

Homework is due the day after it is assigned unless specified on the 
homework log.

Can I bring a snack in for my child's birthday?

I welcome birthday treats, however, per school rule, they must be store 
bought.  We will share the treats during the last 15 minutes of the school 
day. You are welcome to bring them at that time, or drop them off in the 
morning and I will pass them out later.

What is the grade for third grade at SIS?

E:   90-100%
S+:  80-89%
S:   70-79%
N:   60-69%
U:   0-59%

Is my child allowed to redo his/her failing work?

Yes, and I definitely encourage it. When your child receives a grade of 60% 
or lower, you can have him/her redo the work for higher credit. Please sign 
any redo work, so I know that it has been changed when I see it in their 
homework folder.
