Our 3rd Grade Field Trip is FINALIZED!!!!!!
All nine 3rd grade classroom are attending Old Tucson Studios on February 24,
2009! This field trip should be great because it correlates with our state
standards, and the students will really enjoy it! However, I will be missing
all of the fun! We are able to bring up to 4 volunteers, and will be setting
up small groups for each volunteer to supervise those students. If you would
like to volunteer that day email me at haldrich@sahuarita.k12.az.us and I can
start making those arrangements since I will be out with a brand new baby
girl! I will try my best to make the arrangements in advance so the sub will
not have to worry so much! But just in case, I am getting an experienced
teacher for 6 weeks :) THAT IS ALWAYS GOOD!
In addition to my absence, parent teacher conference fall in during this time.
I will be sending home a sign up sheet for those of you who would like to meet
since they are not mandatory for the 3rd quarter, and these will be held the
week I return which will most likely be March 30th. AIMS testing is also that
week, so I will be limiting conference times even more. It is also important
that you prepare your child each night with proper healthy meals, a good
nights rest and a good pep talk :) Encourage your child to try their very
best! Please stick with us during this time, it is a rough week for students!
I appreciate all of the support from my parents and look forward to a
wonderful end of the year with your child!!!!
Remember, email me if you would like to attend out field trip!
