Hello Class,
I am super excited to be back here at SIS! I spent last semester at Sahuarita
Primary School teaching Kindergarten!!! WOW, that is all I can say! But 3rd
graders have my heart and I am so happy to be teaching wonderful 3rd graders
once again!
I did my student teaching here at SIS last year with Julie Tatum! I hope to be
working with her this year as well, she is a wonderful teacher and I am happy
to have her as a mentor!
If you don't know already, I have a son, his name is Parker! I am also engaged
and will be getting married on September 5th of this year! So at that time, I
will be Mrs. Finney! Thats exciting too!! So many changes for me since I
graduated from college! But they are wonderful changes.
Some of you know, I went to school here starting in 1996, however, SIS was my
middle school! I then went to Sahuarita High School and graduated in 2002. I
got a softball scholarship to Eastern Arizona College and played there for a
year, then transfered to Pima Community College, I earned my AA degree and
then transfered to the University of Arizona where I earned my BA in
Elementary Education! Teaching is the only job I can do, and I'm happy to do
it every day! I hope we all have a great year! And remember to always, always
try your best!!!
