Students come to the library once a week. They have a 20 mins. activity and
20 mins. to check out books.
Students may check out two books. I require one to be a fiction chapter
book. I like the fiction chapter book to be in their Reading ZPD that is
found when they take a STAR Reading test. The second book may be any subject
the student is interested in.
Books are due every week at their class time. If they forgot a book students
may not check out other materials till the book is returned to the library.
Students are allowed to recheck a reading book they have not finished reading
by bringing the book to class to recheck.
We have independent check-out times everyday.
