On Tuesday, December 9th, students were able to attend a "Holiday Star
Party" at Sahuarita Middle School. We enjoyed hot chocolate
and goodies while 4 amateur astronomers from the Tucson Astronomy
Association provided high powered telescopes offering excellent views of the
Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and other stars.
Our school extends sincere thanks to the Tucson Amateur Astronomy
Association for the energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge they shared with the
students. Also, the 7th grade science team would like to send many, many
thanks to those parents who provided hot chocolate & other
snacks for the star party!!! It was a great success!
