About The Teacher

Hello!!  I am thrilled to be teaching your son/daughter at Sahuarita Middle 
School.  Currently I am in my 9th year of teaching.  Before starting at 
Sahuarita this year, I taught middle school science at Miles Exploratory 
Learning Center (TUSD) for five years, and prior to that taught American 
Sign Language at a high school in Austin, Texas. I believe that students 
learn through "doing", so as much as possible, labs/activities will be 
incorporated.  Thank you for you support at Sahuarita Middle School.

Mission For The Class

The mission for the 7th grade science class is to prepare students as 
future "scientists" of our world; ready to ask great questions, formulate  
hypotheses, create and perform explemplary experiments, gather and document 
results accurately, and formulate comprehensive conclusions-- all the while, 
having a great time learning!!
