Does my child have homework?

Yes, students will have homework and the amount will vary each 
week, Please, check your child's planner and this website.

Are there projects?

Yes, projects will be assigned, and each project will have a 
project sheet for parent(s) to sign. The first project sheet will 
be coming home on the 24th of August.

Do you accept late work?

Yes, if your child was absent, just send in a note.  They will 
have the same numbers of days to complete their assignments as 
their absence.

My child is having trouble, is help available?

Yes, tutoring is available on Mondays and Tuesdays in the 
library.  I will also gladly make arrangements to find a 
convenient time before school,during lunch or after school with 
ample notification.

If my child stays after school, is transportaion available?

Yes, if your child stays after school for sports, tutoring, or a 
club activity, there is a late bus at 5:30 pm.

Is there extra credit?

Yes, periodically extra credit assignments will be offered to all 
of my students

How can my child improve his/her grade?

Use SQ3R study skills. These skills will be taught at the 
beginning of this school year; ask for help when needed; organize 
school materials and budget time wisely. Don't wait until the 
last moment to study for a tests or quizzes,to complete homework, 
or projects.  Learn from mistakes. We all make them. Try not to 
repeat the same mistakes.
