Please remember all students should be reading at least 5-10 pages a night
(including weekends) in order to fulfill the reading requirements for their
class, either for book reports (6th grade) or reading responses (8th grade).
Leadership Parents:
The Leadership class had a very successful and amazing field trip to Gladden
Farms! The student, chaperones (even our very kind-hearted and adventurous
bus driver) filled trenches, dug holes, weeded, washed, packed, hauled,
tasted, and learned. The students were able to experience some things that
they had never experienced before, and everyone developed a better
appreciation for the ability to open up the fridge and get food when we're
hungry! The students worked well as a team and were impressive and made me
proud to be their teacher. I would like to give a BIG thanks to the Gladden
Farms team, to Heather Medina, Leticia Blanco, Maria (our bus driver), Mrs.
Carlton and to all who supported us, and especially to my Leadership kids.
