Scrip gift card orders are placed the first and third Friday of every month.
If you are going shopping and don't currently have a Scrip card to use on your trip, check out the Scrip cards stocked in the school office first!
(Note: The school receives all of the revenue generated from the Scrip cards sold from the office store.)
What is Scrip and How Does Scrip Work?
When you purchase Scrip, you're purchasing gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use "Scrip” to purchase everyday items like groceries, clothing and gas. Since Scrip is issued in the traditional certificate and card form, it is a great gift idea for friends, relatives and employees. TLS purchases large amounts of Scrip, which allows retailers to offer a substantial discount that ranges from 1.5% to 28%. That discount is passed back to the Scrip Program. With every purchase, 50 percent of the rebate comes back to you in the form of tuition credit, and the other 50 percent goes directly back to Trinity Lutheran School.
Example
A TLS Supporter purchases a $100 gift card to Macy's. Macy's offers a 10% rebate, so the actual cost to the Scrip Program is $90. The TLS Supporter buys the card for $100, and the $10 discount is distributed as follows:
$5 Tuition credit (as designated to the family, to another family, the Church, or School)
$5 Trinity Lutheran School (TEAM)

When do I order Scrip and how do I receive my order?
Orders will be due the first and third Friday of the month by 2:00pm with a check (payable to “Trinity TEAM”) that can be left in the school office. All Scrip must be paid for in advance. Scrip orders can be paid by check, cash, or money order.
There is also an option to pay through Presto Pay which debits your checking account automatically through Scrip. This is similar to setting up a Pay Pal account.
Cards will be available for pickup by the second and fourth Friday (in one week) at the school office.
How long does this program run?
Scrip will run each month during the year, but please look at the Scrip website, or the Trinity Tiger Tracks newsletter for any Scrip order deadline changes (i.e. vacation, days off, etc.). Tuition payouts are made to the school/church in October and April.

Fry's Program
Fry’s Refillable Gift Cards: Fry’s has a refillable card system. To start participating, order your initial $5 card using our TLS Scrip Order Form. Then use the gift card to pay whenever you buy anything at Fry’s/Kroger. When your card gets low on money, just refill it right at the store with your cash, check, debit or credit card before you pay for your groceries. Now you’ll never find yourself at Fry’s without scrip! Anyone shopping at Fry’s/Kroger can get a $5 TLS-coded card and refill it as they shop, so tell your friends and family who shop at Fry’s or Kroger!
