The sign-in book will be located right outside the classroom door. Please
sign your child in and out every day, this is extremely important, it is a
DHS requirement. Please sign your child in using your first initial and full
last name, along with the time. I will also post daily reminders on
your child's sign in/out page so it is important that you remember to sign
in/out everyday.
When picking up your child please remember to wait for your child at the
door. This helps us greatly with creating a calm environment for your
children. A teacher will help your child get his or her things and bring
them to you. We also ask that siblings remain with you and wait for that
loving embrace from their sister or brother (hopefully). Thanks for
understanding.
There is a basket by sign-in book outside that is the lost and found.
Please check it daily to see if anything belongs to your child.
There is a white storage bin outside that is labeled soiled clothes, the
sign in/out book sits in top of it. If your child has soiled clothes to go
home at the end of the day they will be located in the bin. Each bag will be
labeled with your childs name.
There is a basket located by the front door, your child may place
any "special items" brought by your child from home in the basket upon
arrival and it will remain their for safe keeping until going home. If your
child is bringing an item for naptime such as a blanket or special stuffed
animal that will need to go home every night they will go and get the item
when it is naptime and return it to the basket afterwards.
