<div>The soccer game was a lot of fun (hot, but fun:)  Tomorrow is our party and send-off for the third graders.  We'll begin around 9:00 and then have some cake.  It will be informal but all are welcome. The children can do AR quizzes from home this summer.  The website is: https://hosted110.renlearn.com/306110/ Choose 'student' and then 'take a reading quiz'  DO NOT USE THE STAR TEST PORTION ON THE BOTTOM.  It should be the very top quiz.  The username should be the first initial and last name, the password is 'password'. On some occasions the names were misspelled but your child should know their username.  Email me if you can't figure it out.n the To check a book's reading level go to arbookfind.com and type in the name of the book.  Look for a level like 3.4 BL  (use the number near the BL).  To find your child's reading level, look at their progress report I gave you during conferences.  The range is the ideal range for your child's level.  If your child finds a book they really want to read and it isn't within their range, let them read it and then take a quiz.  The score will show on the screen.  The tests are either five or ten questions.  If they get at least 4 or 5 out of five, they're fine.  If they get 7,8, 9, or 10 out of 10, they're ok with that level.
