ODE Quick News
Hello Friends and Family!
We are off to a great start and the kids are really doing well with the
transition into ODE. We wanted to send a quick note out and let everyone know
we are starting to get our soil ready for the children to begin gardening!! We
wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU to Jeanette (Jade’s mom), who has spent a lot
of her time out in the heat, gettin’ dirty and gettin’ our soil ready!! We
truly needed her! We also wanted to thank Stephanie (Lili’s mom) for
volunteering on Mondays and helping us with our activities! Along with their
helping us we hope they are enjoying their time with the kids.
We are in need of some gardening supplies. We would greatly appreciate any
donations or anyone who would like to volunteer! Please check your class
website and sign up next to the items you’d like to bring in. We would like
to start gardening by the last week of September!
Thank you for those who have already donated items and who are bringing in
your recyclables (lids). Our collection is growing and Maria is busy drilling
holes in the middle of them. We will be doing this project in October and the
kids will be thrilled to see what they made out of everything recycled! Oh,
and please remember to drop off your old newspapers in the ODE box out front
by carpool; it’s for a big project in October.
