We made it!!! We are spending the last few days of this school year in overdrive! We are diligently packing up the classroom for the big move. If you have any type of moving boxes, feel free to drop them off we would greatly appreciate it.
The 4th & 5th grade students met with Stefanie for their summer homework choices. A copy of their choices was sent home for your signature and approval, please return to the classroom as quickly as possible. Summer homework should be spread out throughout the summer and returned on the first day of school.
The Elementary I & Elementary II choir concert will be happening this Thursday evening May 16th at the Cheryl Campus. It will begin around 6:30pm, come see the children display their talents.
Monday May 20th is Shadow Day for the upcoming 3rd graders. They will be visiting the classroom for the morning to observe and meet the teachers and students for the next year.
Tuesday May 21st is the day students will turn in their Saxon math books. Please make sure that ALL Saxon books are returned to the classroom. If your child is finishing a Saxon book for the summer, Elizabeth will re-issue one to them.
Wednesday May 22nd – 6th Graders will be going to Wet ‘N Wild for the day. Students should come dressed in their swimsuits, one piece for girls with appropriate cover-ups. Make sure you child has sunscreen, towel, etc for their outing. If your child would like one snack during the day, they may bring extra money with them. Return to school is expected before the end of the day.
Thursday May 23rd – Class pool party!!! We will be transporting children to the San Roman house starting around 9:00am. We will return to school around 2:30. If you would like to pick up your child from the San Roman house, please let Stefanie or Elizabeth know. Students left after 2:30pm will be taken back to school. Please make sure that your child’s swimsuit is school appropriate and a one piece for girls. They will need to bring an extra change of clothes, towel and sunscreen if needed.
Friday May 24th –
6th Grade Celebration will be in the sanctuary beginning around 9:30am. The celebration will be honoring all 6th graders on campus. We invite 6th grade parents to come be a part of the celebration of their child.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – SCHOOL CLOSES AT 11:30am. Your child must be picked up no later than noon.
