This week in first grade we learned about Thanksgiving. We read books and
completed activities about the holiday. Today your child will be bringing
home a non-fiction book about Turkeys to share with you. Next week we will be
writing about what we are thankful for. I hope that you and your family have
a very happy Thanksgiving!

Notes and Needs:
Your children have earned all of their class COMPLIMENTS! I would like to
have a pizza party on Wednesday to celebrate. Please send in $2 with your
child on Monday (for the cost of the pizza). THANKS!!
In addition to pizza I would like to serve pumpkin pie, juice drinks and
chips. If you would be willing to donate one of these items please email me
