Cash Donations:
In lieu of fundraising, cash donations in any amount - big or small - are greatly appreciated and are a big help to the school and our children. Funds will provide our children with field trips, supplies, 3rd phase of our playground and more. We need to raise $20,00.00 for the playground which includes more climbing equipment and a zipline. Please return your annual donations and forms if you are able to give any amount. Click on "Forms/Documents" to print out an Anuual Donation Form or pick one up from the office. Dollar for dollar tax receipts can be issued for all donations over $20.00. Thank you to all that donated!
Volunteer Incentive Program:
If we hold a "special event" where volunteers put in a minimum of 5 hours each, we can earn $50.00 per volunteer up to $5,000.00! Some ideas are: Car Wash, Pancake Breakfast and Save Little Campbell. Suggestions are welcome and applications are accepted until August 2009. If you have any event ideas, please speak to Mr. Atwal, Jacqueline Sephton or Jill Adamovich.
Clothing Drive:
Any soft articles such as clothing, shoes, towels, bedding, pillows, drapes, sewing material, purses, stuffies, etc. can be brought in a bag and put in the bin near the girl's washroom in the annex. We can receive $2/bag and if we have over 150 bags, we can receive $3/bag from Canadian Developmental Disabilities. They collect the items for people that need them. Clean out your closets! Bags are available at the office. Any questions, call Jacqueline @ 604-538-0069.
Campbell's Labels For Education:
We collect labels and redeem them for prizes. Please peel labels before opening cans to avoid spilling on the label. Be sure to include the UPC and front label. Labels can be turned into the office or placed in the folder marked "Fundraising" outside the kitchen door. See "Photos/Documents" for eligible products.
Canadian Tire Money:
We collect this money to buy supplies for the fishing club and sports equipment. Money can be turned into the office or in the file folder marked "Fundraising" outside the kitchen door.
Shopfunds:
We will be taking shopfunds orders once a month. Order forms are available on the bookshelf outside the office. Shopfunds is a great program that allows the PAC to purchase gift cards and certificates at a discount and we retain the percentage listed by each merchant. Buying cards for the merchants you already shop at means it doesn't cost you anything. This is a fabulous opportunity to raise money for our school playground. If you have any questions about the Shopfunds program, contact Jill Adamovich @ 604-534-8664. Check the "Daily Calender" on this website for order and delivery dates. Please make cheques payable to Hall's Prairie Elementary PAC.
Recycling:
There are 3 recycle bins around the school. Please encourage your children to deposit their empty drink containers in these bins instead of in the garbage cans as we can collect money for the school from them. The school has been registered with Encorp. For information on beverage container recycling, go to
www.encorp.ca
Bottle Drive:
Please save your bottles, cans and juice boxes throughout the summer for our next Bottle Drive after New Years. You can also take your bottles and cans to the depot yourself and donate the money to the school.
