Katniss finds herself in a new ARENA where Haymitch advises her to figure out who the True Enemy is.  Wonder how this Games will play out and if Katniss will be able to protect all of those she loves.

The TRUE enemy. Who are Katniss' enemies? Who is her true enemy? Since she's in the arena, is it her opponents? President Snow, the capitol, they are the ones who have hurt her and so many others so much. What have these victors ever done to her? Al they've done is try to play the Capitols game to survive, and a being tortured. (Not only by these latest Games, but by their nightmares, thoughts, and whatever else the Capitol has brought upon them. They didn't leave Katniss alone after her games, so why should the rest of them have escaped it?)

Katniss will not be able to protect all of those that she loves. Only one can live. Who will it be? I hope KAtniss wins the Victor's games this year. Who knows what crazy thing will happen next.

To tell you the truth, I forgot if I've added a comment to this post, so I'm just gonna go ahead and add this one in case I haven't.

Will she be able to protect all she loves? And if so, how? She can't really protect them all. She can't protect Gale and or Peeta from their obvious love for her (she can't protect them from a broken heart), she can't protect her little sister from the horrors she sees on the TV screen every night, she can't protect the ex-Hob members like Greasy Sae and Ripper from the stocks and the new Peacekeeper. She couldn't save Rue, she couldn't save her father, she couldn't save Mags, she couldn't save her mother from the deep depression she went into when her father died, she couldn't save HERSELF from the Games and their horrors from entering her life.

And if their is a revolution, will she be able to save them? Hiding away won't be an option if there is a rebellion, because she's the face of it. SHE held out those berries. She wore that Mockingjay dress (even if not on purpose) and shoved the rebellion in the nose of President Snow. Katniss has obviously started the spark that sends the Fire of Rebellion through the Districts (and if you haven't noticed, the name of the whole book is Catching Fire, so that kinda makes some sense).

And what was the thing with Mags? I myself don't think she just sacrificed herself for no particular reason. Yeah, she was an elderly woman, but she wasn't the sweet old lady who lives at the curb who gives out cookies after church. She was just as much a vicious killer as the rest of them. Remember what Finnick said? About how all of them didn't just end up Victors by chance, except maybe Peeta? And the Morphling? The one who drew the flower on Peeta's cheek with her blood as she died? Is this Haymitch's doing, or something far more deep rooted, than Katniss, Peeta, and Panem could have ever guessed?

I think those that Katniss cares and cherishes will suffer in the arena such as Mags who died in the fog sacrificing herself to lighten the load of the trip to escape. But will be able to keep her original promise, to keep Peeta alive...

I can't beleive that the capital is sending in jabberjays with their family's screams. They have to actually be torturing them somewhere.

Katniss is trying to protect so many people, inside and outside of the arena, that there must be so much weight is on her shoulders. I bet she can't wait until the games are over.

She doesn't really know who the real enemy is. She obviously can't decide and her opinions aren't to be relied on. At first she thought Peeta was the enemy, but really he was the one that would always be there for her and she would now die to save him. Who knows about the other people she thinks are the enemy. Of course everyone thinks of the Capitol, but are they really? I mean, they are just trying to control the remains of the human race. The games are just to show their control.I know it sounds cruel to agree with them somewhat but,it kinda does make sense. What if other people she thinks are friends try to use her?

She is strong enough to do it. If anything if Peeta dies she will just stop living she loves him to much

I don't really think it would be possible for Katniss to defend everyone. This is the Hunger Games and people are going to die. There isn't a way around it. All we can hope, is that the Capitol doesn't prevail in the end.

Yh... Why did Mags kill herself. Maybe she knew it would save them. Maybe she thought it was her time to go.
