    Summer Reading is Here!

    The Summer Reading List 2012---Dream Big--Read!---is now posted on this website. Have a look at the great selection of books and authors, and get started on a fun summer of reading! These titles are meant to guide reading choices, but not limit them. Children may choose any "just right" book, fiction or non-fiction, from on or off the list. Don't forget Tumble Books as well as e-books and audiobooks from the public library. So many choices, and so many reading adventures in store--so start early and read every day for the "dreamiest" summer ever!!

    Library Cards are in!

    In our combined efforts with the Peabody Institute Library to promote reading, we are excited to announce that 70 elementary students have been issued new library cards this year! The school libraries and the public library work together to sign students up for new or replacement cards.  Our sincere thanks to Tricia Arrington and JoAnne Powell at the PIL for their support!

    Graphic novels purchased with the DEEP grant have been circulating like crazy in the Danvers elementary schools! Thank you, DEEP, for this exciting new collection of books for our libraries. We have also received a shipment of our new MCBA books. Thank you to PAC at each school for funding this major purchase!
