We asked our students to tell us their favorite parts of the early release day enrichment activities. Here are some of their thoughts!
"My favorite part was when the man asked the kids if we wanted our teachers to have stuffed animals and we chanted 'Miss Liz! Miss Liz! Miss Liz'" -Arushi
"I liked the part when he said to step on the pedal to make your animal." -Julian

"My favorite was pony rides because they were fun!" -Erin
"I like when we rode the ponies because I like ponies" -Jazmine
"I like face painting because it was so fun when it surprised my Mom!" -Aminatta
We also heard reactions to some of our more typical activities:
"My favorite thing from transportation was learning about the roads in ancient Rome. I liked learning about the roads because we learned how they had names and helped people get places" -Daniel
"My favorite thing from transportation was making the Native American horse masks. I like the horse masks because it makes me look like a horse and because I liked learning about and drawing Native American symbols." -Jose
"My favorite is dodgeball because I get to throw the ball." -Liam
